The Victoria Royal Beach is situated at
the seaward end of Grand Avenue in Worthing and is literally a
stone’s throw from the promenade and Marine Gardens. The Home is
fully registered with West Sussex County Council for the
accommodation of 20 residents. Most bedrooms in this Home have
en-suite facilities with front rooms an the first floor having the
added benefit of a private balcony overlooking Grand Avenue.
The Victoria Royal Beach offers the very
best in first class accommodation to both private Residents and to
those whose fees are supported. All bedrooms are centrally heated
and all have colour television and BT phone points. The main
activity centre of the Home is the Egyptian Lounge and it is here
that ‘Keep Fit’ activities, Occupational Therapy and weekly Card
and Board games take place. Meals are taken in the Dining Room
which overlooks the rear patio area. The Home also has the benefit
of a ‘quiet lounge’ situated on the ground floor. The five person
passenger lift serves all floors.
All meals are prepared in the kitchen by
the Chef who holds diplomas and certificates for food preparation.
Menus are varied every day with ample choice at all meals.
Diabetic and Vegetarian meals appear on the menu daily. Dignity in
old age is very important as is the company of others in the same
age group(s). At the Victoria Royal Beach company, friendship and
a stimulating atmosphere lead to a much better way of life in the
golden years. Visitors and Relatives are welcome to call at any
time and are especially welcome to join our festivities at Easter
and Christmas.
Hairdressers and Chiropodists attend
regularly. The Home is very proud of its happy, attentive and
caring staff who, under the supervision of the Home Manager
provide all Residents with 24 hour care. All bedrooms, Public
Rooms, Toilets and Bathrooms are fitted with a Nurse Call System
to summon help in the event of need. |
